Open Pool League ("OPL", "we", "our") operates the Open Pool League mobile application (the "App") and the website at opl-usa.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the league:

• Account information — your name, username, and email address when you register.
• Match data — game format, race length, scores, frame-by-frame results, and match outcomes.
• Performance stats — ELO ratings, win/loss records, lag win percentage, shutouts, and 3-foul wins per game format.
• League activity — match invites sent and received, friend connections, and ladder position.

We do not collect payment information, precise location data, contacts, photos, or any device sensor data.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to operate Open Pool League:

• Create and manage your player account.
• Record match results and calculate ELO ratings.
• Display your stats, ranking, and match history in the App.
• Enable other league members to challenge you and view your profile.
• Send match invites and in-app notifications.
• Maintain the integrity of league standings and the leaderboard.

3. How Your Information Is Stored

Your data is stored securely in a cloud database provided by Supabase, which is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest.

Supabase processes data on our behalf and is contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing us the database service. You can review Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.

4. Information Visible to Other Users

Open Pool League is a social league app. The following information is visible to other registered players within the app:

• Your display name and username.
• Your ELO rating and ranking.
• Your win/loss record and per-format stats.
• Your match history (opponents, format, score, and outcome).

Your email address is never displayed to other users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information (name, username, email) and anonymize your match history within 30 days.

Aggregate match records may be retained in anonymized form to preserve the integrity of historical league standings.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Export your match history on request.

7. Children's Privacy

Open Pool League requires users to be at least 13 years of age to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

For material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active users through the App before the changes take effect.
